Brand Identity | Logo Design
Software: Adobe Illustrator | Photoshop | Figma
As Graphic Design Co-Lead, I contributed to brand strategy, concept development, and identity exploration. My work focused heavily on logo ideation and visual systems, including multiple conceptual directions exploring themes of growth, legacy, innovation, and transformation. Notable explorations included a 3D isometric honeycomb logo, symbolizing collaboration and connection with a subtle tie to the SCAD bee identity, as well as geometric and modular visual systems.
Challenge
The project called for the development of a flexible brand identity capable of communicating growth, innovation, and long-term impact while supporting a broad range of audiences and applications. Working within a collaborative design team, the challenge was to explore multiple strategic directions that could translate complex organizational values into a cohesive visual system.
Approach
As Graphic Design Co-Lead, I contributed to brand strategy, identity exploration, and visual concept development, with a primary focus on logo ideation and system thinking. Through iterative sketching and refinement, I developed multiple conceptual directions centered around themes of growth, legacy, transformation, and collaboration.
Key explorations included a three-dimensional isometric honeycomb mark that referenced connection, adaptability, and the SCAD bee identity, alongside modular geometric systems designed to create scalable, recognizable brand expressions across a variety of touchpoints.
Outcome
The project demonstrates a collaborative approach to strategic identity design, balancing conceptual exploration with practical system development. By contributing to both the brand strategy and visual language, the work highlights the value of iterative design, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and adaptable identity systems capable of supporting an evolving organization.
